"Thanks very much for helping me in getting the last minute trip to ECUADOR and Peru, we loved it! My wife enjoyed every place that we went in Quito, but we loved so much Guayaquil. My kids liked the waterfront river malecon 2.000, they wanted to go back after our trip to the Galapagos. We all enjoyed our visit to Guayaquil and the surroundings, we took a tour on a London bus in Guayaquil and people were very friendly and I would like to thank everyone that were very nice to us. We loved our hotel too.

We are now back from our Oct 8 - 15th Ecuador Trip! Your suggestions in seeing Otovalo, Cuenca and RioBamba Devil's Nose train were wonderful! We had a great time and enjoyed the scenery of the beautiful Andes Mountains.
I think I liked Cuenca the best because it had it all - cathedrals, markets, and shopping!! Although Otovalo was my most fun day and I helped the Ecuadorian economy by buying a lot! The indigenous people were wonderful.
I must tell you that the hotels you picked were THE BEST! We've stayed all over the world and the employees at the Swissotel in Quito were as gracious and accommodating as I've ever seen!. I had injured my knee on the flight from St. Louis to Miami (torn left meniscus) and actually was in a lot of pain when I got to Quito. The hotel (as a service to us) brought in a physician and nurse and gave me a shot for pain at no charge to me. Additionally, the hotel filled my presciptions at a local Pharmacy and delivered them! I was so shocked at the service, of course we tipped them well. They even wrapped a large picture I purchased at an art show (in the park across from the HIlton) for traveling. I don't know HOW I would have gotten it home otherwise. They packaged it so well, we just checked it as luggage!
The hotel in Cuenca (Mansion Alcazar) was the prettiest hotel I've seen, and I wished we could have stayed ONE MORE night there. That stay was much too short. (I also liked that they had a free internet connect service available that I could send emails to friends back home watching my 4 year old!!)

I got back from my terrific trip last week and I am still trying to
catch up on my life, but I thought I would write to you with some reactions
while it is still relatively fresh in my mind.
The Galapagos was fascinating. I like the boat, the Legend. I think the
larger boat is more suited to me than a small boat would have been. It
provided more space to move around and hang out and it also had more people
which allowed for a wider social net. I met several nice people who were
great travel companions.
It was quite an experience being so close to sea lions, turtles, iguanas and
other animals. The snorkeling was also quite good, allowing us to see varied
marine life.
Quito was a good city. It was not overly focused on tourist so I was able to
walk around relatively unaccosted by peddlers. The hotel Café Cultura was a
real treat. The
staff was friendly and the restaurant excellent.
The Sheraton was nice.
Cuzco and the surrounding area were terrific. I had no real prior knowledge
of the area and the Inca heritage so I saw and learned a lot. Cuzco was much
more tourist focused and vendors were constantly trying to sell me things.
The tours I took were quite good, including those in Cuzco as well as those
in the countryside. The Jose Antonio hotel was very nice.
Machu Picchu was by far the highlight of the trip. It is simply magical.

They all had a great time. The accommodations, especially the Hampton Inn, were fine and they reported that the agent from YesTravel was a big help. She met them every time they were at the Guayaquil airport, got them on the right van, had the tickets ready, etc. They were very impressed with her. Many thanks for all of your help on this.

I wanted to give you a feedback about the trip.
Your help in organizing the trip is very much appreciated. Café Cultura is a charming place. The staff made us
feel
very welcome.
The food is
very good though.
The trip to Otovalo market included a lunch at a hacienda. The
location,
ambiance and food were all excellent in the Pisqui hacienda.
The trip to Galapagos was the highlight of our trip. Celebrity
Xpedition is
an outstanding boat with world class service. We were fortunate that
there
were only 22 tourists on board in a boat with a capacity of 100 or so.
The
staff was extremely attentive. The rooms were excellent, especially the
bathrooms.
I would highly recommend that you send your clients to this ship.
Sacha Lodge was very unique in its location. It was what we expected it
to
be. The staff took
excellent care of handling our luggage check in etc.
For your future clients for Ecuador, I would suggest that Galapagos be
kept
as the last item, because everything else on the trip pails in
comparison.
I have been telling my friends about the trip. One of my friends would
like
to take a similar trip. I will recommend to him that he should use your
services to organize the trip.

We have returned and indeed had the time of our lives. The Xpedition
boat
is wonderful and I hope that you will recommend it to many others. We
had
only 23 people for the first 3 days and 9 for the last 4 days. Needless
to
