Visa to Chile

The Tourist Card, given on arrival to the Chile, is valid for 90 days and is also renewable for a further 90 days period. The Tourist Card must be surrendered upon departure and it is essential to keep it safe.

It is also important to know the address at which you will be staying, as this will be asked upon arrival.

IMPORTANT: Visa Requirements for USA Citizens USA citizens traveling on tourism or on business trips are allowed to enter Chile without a visa for a period of 90 days renewable in Chile. At the immigration booth a US$ 100.00 fee has to be paid in cash. This fee is based on the principle of reciprocity. The previous-mentioned fee is paid only once and it is valid until the expiration of the passport.
