Being Single in Brazil

Rio de Janeiro!

Rio is one of the most sought after tourist destinations around the world for many reasons, the most obvious ones being the magnificent natural scenery, climate, and beautiful people. My goal is to introduce you to your options as a single man looking to have a good time during your stay. Once your plane has landed and you get into the postcard-like scenic south side of the city where you'll be staying, you'll soon begin to notice what this whole article is all about!

First of all, it`s good to have a little background information on the CARIOCAS, what the local women in Rio are called. You'll see I dedicate a lot of text to them as I feel they deserve it. There's just something about them. Their bodies, the way they walk, dress, their sensuality and their style all make them the star attraction for a single guy on vacation wanting to really experience Brazil.

For those of you who like the challenge of picking up a local girl, I`ll tell you about the HOT SPOTS where you can go to meet them. You should check out the HAPPY HOURS DOWNTOWN since 2 million people commute there from all over the city each day for work. The place to go late night on Friday and Saturday nights is also downtown in a neighborhood called LAPA, where people from all over the city gather to party in bars and drink in the streets. The BEACHES are an obvious option and why not check out a FUNK PARTY for those of you into breakbeat dance music.

There are the traditional NEIGHBORHOODS of IPANEMA/LEBLON, LAGOA, and COPACABANA for checking out women and the emerging new region of BARRA, all offering endless options for dining, drinking, shopping, sightseeing, and seeing the best of what Rio has to offer, not just spectacular views but beautiful sensual Cariocas too!

For those of you who just want to get right down to it there are TERMAS, the local word for saunas, STRIP CLUBS, and other more subtle places to run into WORKING GIRLS more than willing to work something out with you. That's right I said working girls, now you can use less respectful names if you like but the fact remains that the adult entertainment options in Rio are a big drawing factor for tourists and though prostitution is technically still illegal in the largest catholic nation in the world, the laws are not enforced.

Now, there are also some HOTEL POLICIES that you should be aware of and options that exist because of these policies for those of you that are looking for a place to get busy, from chic, top-notch luxury MOTELS to conveniently located inexpensive SEX HOTELS right in Copacabana near most of the main spots where you'll find the girls. You`ve more than likely seen images of the beaches crowded with curvy tan Brazilian women and that's not a bad place to get started since you`ll probably get checked into your hotel around midday and will want to take advantage of the sun, water, and throngs of hot women walking, jogging, and sunbathing on the beaches.

Sao Paulo!

The site designed to help single men get the most out of their stay in Sao Paulo. If you`re coming to Sao Paulo, you`re probably coming on business, but remember all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I`ll start by giving you a little information about the city of SAO PAULO and the local women, AS PAULISTAS, then talk about the ADULT ENTERTAINMENT options the city has to offer. I`ll finish up with some tips for a guy who likes the challenge of going out and meeting girls the traditional way with some suggestions to help out with the extensive Sao Paulo NIGHTLIFE scene.

This information was put together with the two main business regions in Sao Paulo in mind, Paulista Avenue, still the big banking/financial area and Berrini where the technology and big multinational corporations have recently settled. I`ve chosen three regions to concentrate on, JARDINS, PINHEIROS/VILA MADALENA, and ITAIM/VILA OLYMPIA. With this in consideration, most of the places you`ll want to check out probably won't be that far from where you`re staying or working. I hope your Sao Paulo experience is a memorable one!

São Paulo, The City

Sao Paulo is the largest financial, industrial, and economic center in South America and the third largest city in the world. It`s a city that doesn`t sleep and offers the finest of everything in the world. You just need to know where to find it. It is a city with distinct class lines, a wealthy elite class, boasting the second biggest helicopter fleet in the world second only to New York, used to driving around in bullet proof cars, the biggest middle class population in the country resulting from the career opportunities the city has to offer, and a majority lower class filling the seemingly endless distant suburbs and outskirts of the city.

Much like New York, it is a center for the arts, theater, and entertainment but primarily is a city of commerce. As I already stated most foreigners who come to Sao Paulo come on business, thus the night life is better during the week than on the weekends as a lot of the local people flee the stress and traffic of the big city to go to a beach home or a country home on the weekends, during the week they relieve their stress by letting loose in the city`s many NIGHT LIFE options.

Have a blast!
